Most fanfiction apps treat a fandom as a string of text. Ficverse treats it as a place. Type a title and you get the poster, the synopsis, the genres, the cast — and underneath, every story set in that world plus the tags actually trending in it this week.

A reader that gets out of the way

Tap a chapter and it is simply there — no spinner, no waiting for it to load. And what you have already read stays on your phone, so a weak signal is never the end of the chapter.

Writing

Write like you mean it

A real editor, not a plain text box. Bold, italics, scene breaks and quotes look the way you meant them to, and nothing gets mangled because a character said something with an asterisk in it. Your drafts stay yours until you decide to publish.

Safety & moderation

Zero tolerance, by design

A platform full of other people’s writing only works if the rules are real and the tools are in your hands.

Report anything

Stories, chapters, comments and profiles can all be reported in two taps. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and content that breaks the rules is removed.

Block anyone

A blocked account disappears from your feeds, your search results and your comment threads — in both directions.

Warnings up front

Authors mark violence, self-harm, gore, abuse, non-consent and major character death. You see the warnings before the first paragraph.

Age-appropriate by default

Everyone starts on General and Teen content. Mature and Explicit stories only unlock for verified adults who deliberately opt in.

Privacy

Nothing follows you home

There are no ads in Ficverse, and nothing in it watches what you do in other apps. It never even shows you the tracking permission box, because there is nothing to ask for. We keep what a reading and writing app needs to work, and nothing else.

  • Sign in with Apple or GoogleNo password to create, and Apple’s Hide My Email works fine.
  • No location, camera, contacts or microphoneNotifications are optional, and covers come from Apple’s own photo picker — the app never gets your photo library.
  • Your reading history clears itselfThe record of what you read is deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • Delete your account from inside the appOne screen, and you choose what happens to the stories you wrote.

Frequently asked

When is Ficverse launching?

The iOS app is finished and going through App Store review preparation. This page will carry the App Store link the day it goes live — there is nothing to sign up for in the meantime.

How much does it cost?

Reading and writing are free. There are no ads and no subscription. We may add paid chapters for authors much further down the line; if that ever happens, free stories stay free and nothing you have already published changes.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. Android and a web reader are planned after the iOS launch.

Is the app in Turkish?

Fully. The whole app is in English and Turkish, and it follows whichever language your device is set to. Search understands Turkish letters, so “buyucu” still finds “büyücü”.

How old do I have to be?

You must be at least 13 (or older, where your country requires it). Mature and explicit stories are only available to users who are 18 or over and have deliberately turned them on; everyone else sees General and Teen content only.

Does the app get access to my photos?

No. Story covers and avatars are chosen through Apple’s system photo picker, which hands the app only the single image you selected. Ficverse never receives permission to browse your photo library.

What happens to my stories if I delete my account?

You decide during deletion. You can delete your stories along with the account, or leave them published without an author attached. Comments you left on other people’s stories are anonymised rather than deleted, so their reply threads stay readable.

Is Ficverse affiliated with TMDB or any studio?

No. Information about series and films comes from The Movie Database. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Ficverse is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any rights holder of the works its community writes about.

Can I read without an account?

Yes — browsing and reading public stories works signed out. An account is needed to write, comment, like, follow, or keep your reading position across devices.
